I got these for the rug in front of my bed. Underneath is a hardwood floor. My Deebot tore up the corners of my previous rug because it kept getting stuck on them every time it vacuumed in there. So, when I got my new rug, I had to figure out a way to protect it. A friend recommended these and they’ve worked great. It’s been 6 months and the corners of my rug still look brand new. I highly recommend these.
Update: One corner has came off of the rug itself. But trying to get the other part loose from the floor was a definite challenge. Came apart in pieces as I was trying to pull it up. And I had no choice but to pull it up because it wouldn’t stick to the rug anymore so had to remove it to put another one on. That said, once I finally got it unstuck from the floor, the floor wasn’t sticky and it wasn’t damaged in any way. I would suggest checking the corners occasionally to be sure the rug is still stuck to the floor.

Works as should, but only for a 6 months. Then they lose stickiness.

Really good, my carpet has stayed in place. Obviously this only works on hardwood or a hard surface.

Great on bedroom rug; curled up again in under 24h in living room

Your carpet will definitely never move again if you use these! This is great for like a dining room rug or something that doesn’t move a lot. I’ve moved a couple of runners around since putting these on and you basically have to rip them off the floor. I’ve done this on both poured floors and hard wood and no damage or anything, but I guess I was expecting something more like a rubber grip that made moving the rug difficult, not impossible. You can stick them back on and reposition, so it’s not like a one-use situation, but it is a bit of a pain to have to re-stick them if you want to move something a few inches over. Overall I don’t regret buying but if you’re buying for something like a small area rug or runner that you might move again in the foreseeable future, this might not be the one.

Love them. Bought second set.

Keeps the rug in place, was easy to apply and even works against my dog who usually likes to “fluff” the rug to lay on it.
