Package wasn’t plastic wrapped for the weather conditions and package was totally rain soaked and sopping wet. Metal tins inside damaged but still usable as candles. Plastic covers for tins all totally destroyed; these plastic covers cheaper than the soda tops used by fast food restaurants. Items still usable as outdoors citronella candles, but tins and plastic pretty cheaply made! If all you want is an outdoor citronella candle and don’t mind dents in containers, then these are for you!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Because it was supposed to be a strong and long lasting candle. It doesn’t smell like citronella AT ALL it smells like pee. It burned out so fast and the wicks were not placed in a proper arrangement so when it melts they actually began to float and separate causing it to go out. Then when you try to light it again you can’t because the wicks disappear into what was the melted wax. I have used citronella candles many times and most have kept the bugs away. It’s almost as if they were attracted TO the candle and tons of them would end up in the candle. I would never purchase this product again. They were a waste of money and did not do what they claimed to do.

Walking out on my front porch at dusk was an open invitation for the mosquitoes to feed! I live by the lake and it seems mosquitoes are horrible out here. So about 6 PM I will go out like this candle and let it burn so I don’t become a chunk of prime rib for hungry mosquitoes! I have to let my dog out a lot and I like to stand out there with her while she does her business and this citronella candle has really helped out a lot. In fact, it feels like there are less spiderwebs on my front deck and less bugs as well. Great product when this one’s gone, I will buy another!

Product showed up with out a carry handle, which was one of the selling features. Product isn’t authentic to description. Very unhappy customer. Plan on returning as not been opened.

Excellent killing of mosquitoes, really kept them away, we have a lot of trees on half acres, I can sit on the porch and have my cigarette or watch on my phone. Was very impressed that the wick burned evenly. Really got my money worth!

It’s smell is not too overpowering and does an amazing job keeping mosquitoes away. We’ve used it on the patio during several evening gatherings, and everyone noticed a difference. It burns evenly and lasts a long time, which is a big plus. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors without being eaten alive!
